Reminder Settings

Default reminder setting for new events

This setting governs whether or not a Reminder should be set automatically when a new calendar event or task is created. By default this option is set to: No reminder; you must manually set a reminder if you want one for an event. Change this setting if you prefer to automatically set a reminder for new events. This setting can always be overridden for any event.

When this option is enabled, you will receive an email message and MDIM notification for Calendar and Task reminders.

Desktop Notifications

When using the Pro, LookOut or WorldClient theme, at sign-in the browser will ask you whether or not you wish to allow desktop notifications. If you do, then you will receive notifications of new email messages.

Empty Notifications Timer

Use the drop-down list to choose how long you want Webmail to allow notifications to build up before discarding them. For example, if you have Webmail running in the browser and leave the computer unattended/locked for an extended amount of time, many notifications could build up during that time. This option determines how long Webmail will wait before discarding all of them.
